In 2006, Pennsylvania was ranked seventh in the nation for total foundation giving, and locally, the Pittsburgh grantmaking community contributed over $560 million to charitable causes.* If you are seeking statistics or other information about broad issues facing the philanthropic and nonprofit sectors, the Publications and Data section of GWP's website is an excellent place to start.
