Regional Statistics & Resources

  • Quick Facts from the U.S. Census Bureau
  • Pennsylvania State Data Center
The Pennsylvania State Data Center serves as Pennsylvania's official source of population and economic statistics.
  • Pittsburgh Today
Through a regional indicators initiative led by John Craig, former editor of the Post-Gazette and Paul O'Neill, a new web based resource is now available that provides extensive metrics on the performance of the Pittsburgh region (defined in many cases as a 22 county tri-state area) that range of Art and Education, to Economy, Environment and Transportation. In each case, subject matter experts have identified key indicators and whenever possible, data is provided for both a ten year trend within the region as well as benchmark comparisons to a peer group of 14 cities nationally.
