- Hands-on complimentary consulting will be available to participants from the communication gurus from ActionMedia. The team of experts has been working closely with TFN, its members and their grantees in the last five years to help individuals develop persuasive frameworks for tackling the root causes of sprawl and urban disinvestment. Funders can attest to the impact of strategic communications on their work with boards, community leaders.
- The Funders’ Network is interested in hosting a lunch for local foundations at the close of the conference after Jay Williams, Mayor of Youngstown, OH, provides the keynote address. Mayor Williams will speak to promising strategies for communities losing population. His remarks will also tie into the our regional visioning initiative, Power of 32, and CYP Regional Learning Network. Funders’ Network leaders are offering to convene local foundations to reflect on their conference experience, their current work and help make connections and identify next steps for area funders. This will take place Wednesday, March 24th.
