The Pittsburgh Foundation and the Richard King Mellon Foundation are partnering with GWP to bring The Rensselaerville Institute to Pittsburgh. Dubbed “the think tank with boots” by the Wall Street Journal, Rensselaerville brings a unique perspective to the nonprofit community with its straightforward approach to achieving results. Rensselaerville has also been selected as the outcomes partner to Microedge -- which means the tools they discuss will become a part of the grant management system for FIMS and GIFTS users.
Senior Fellow
Hal Williams will present three sessions:
· A breakfast briefing for foundation program officers on achieving desired outcomes in your grantmaking
· A midday session with nonprofits on achieving outcomes in difficult economic times
· A late afternoon sessions for donors entitled “The Donor As Investor”
Please join fellow GWP members during the breakfast briefing as Hal explores three key questions:
· What are we buying?
· What are the chances we’ll get it?
· Is this the best use of our resources?
He will also discuss the predictors of success and propose a framework for tracking outcomes. A continental breakfast will be provided and you will leave with tools that you will start using immediately.
Please plan to attend this exciting and timely presentation. Capacity is limited, so please register early!
